Finding the Right Lenses
No two pairs of eyes are alike, which is why we have a diverse selection of contact lenses to match your individual vision needs! Our team will make sure you get the right contact lenses for your eyesight and lifestyle when you choose from our wide range of brands, including CooperVision and Alcon.
The Importance of Contact Lens Exams & Fittings
Contact lens exams are different from a comprehensive eye exam because contact lenses cover the front of your eye and require a precise fit — not just for your comfort, but for the clearest vision possible. And because your eyes change over time, we need to update the fit and prescription each time you need new lenses, which requires detailed measurements taken in our exams. Thanks to our medical approach to eye care and our contact eye exams, we’ll find you the right lenses for both your eyesight and your everyday needs, and ensure they fit perfectly.

Specialty Contact Lens Options at
Bard Optical
If your eye is a unique shape caused by a vision issue such as astigmatism, or if you have otherwise “hard-to-fit eyes” due to a front-of-eye condition, traditional contacts may have not worked for you in the past. But since we care about all patients being able to see their best, we offer certain specialty lenses, so you can still enjoy the freedom contact lenses bring!
Specialty Fit Lenses
Scleral lenses are an excellent specialty fit choice if you have sensitive corneas, the thin layer forming the front of your eye. These lenses are larger than your typical daily disposable lens and cover your eye’s sclera — known as the “white” of the eye. As an added benefit, scleral lenses can also relieve some dry eye symptoms as the space between the lens and the eye acts as a reservoir for tears, keeping your eyes hydrated.
Myopia Management Lenses
Myopia, or nearsightedness, is a common condition frequently noticed during comprehensive eye exams in children. Our Doctors can manage and potentially slow the progression of myopia with MiSight®️️ 1 day contact lenses. These specialty contacts can limit their need for constant, stronger prescription updates, and prevent more serious eye diseases in their future — so ask your doctor if MiSight®️️ 1 day lenses are right for your child!
